New to my fleet

Hey everyone been awhile since I have posted  so I thought I would put up a few pictures of my latest creations.First up is a PRR ND cabin I figured I had the N6B figured out only natural to do the ND.I am also a Cabin  car nut I just can not have enough to me they make your railroad as most were so road specific.

Second we have the PRR Glca seen in many many of PRR consist so I just had to have one two dozen :-). This Hopper was a real bear to to get right and I am still not 100% happy with the way it assembles but I am getting there. I am very happy with the way it has it come out it defiantly looks the part. Now I just need to find the time to assemble the fleet of them I have planned for the future layout.

Well all thanks for looking any questions comments feel free to ask.

My new N6B

Hi All been awhile but here is my latest adventure into the world of model trains photo etching.
I have always liked the N6B as long as I have been into model trains and the PRR.There is something about and old wood Cabin car as us Pennsy folks would say that I just really like they have stood the test of time and in PRR's case were among one of the most common as the PRR liked to reuse/rebuild rather then build knew.
But unfortunately no one makes a readily available kit or built N6B except the old Gloor Craft / Quality Craft kits. But these are not all that easy to build and are getting quite expensive when you can find them.
So while on the few forums I visit and some times post I have been inspired by the many very talented modeler's who are on these sites to give a go at making my own kit for the N6B and here it is.After many hours in front of Autocad, help from some friends and a few times back and forth with the etcher (not through there fault) I finally had a few kits to build and add to my roster.
My etching was done by PPD limited in Scotland they are great people kind and very helpful to a novice like me i can not thank them enough along with a few others that gave me a hand in the process.
So to any that have thought about making that on of a kind car loco ect. go ahead and give it try the rewards are many and the learning is great !

Thanks all for looking and take care.

Hi All,,,

Here is a few more pics my steamer I have been working on.First is the I1sa 2-10-0 210f85a tender I have been scratch building for the last month or so on and off on my spare time.Once this master is done I am going to make up some molds and cast all the parts in pewter and resin so I dont have to worry about everything being so fragile.
Second is the 2-10-2 N2sa I cast the boiler and belpaire  firebox and I am now in the process of fitting everything together for the next step of detailing.
So enjoy and as I start to finish things up I post some more take care to all and thanks for looking.
